Vice President and General Counsel
Matthew oversees all of Group Ten’s legal requirements. His primary focus is representing Group Ten Builders before municipal, county and state land use agencies to obtain development approvals for the construction of residential homes. His responsibilities include negotiation and the preparation of all documents needed to perfect those approvals. He also negotiates and prepares all documents necessary for land acquisition and sale transactions.
Matthew brings his extensive experience in Southern New Jersey land use to enhance Group Ten’s position as an innovative leader in land development and home building in Southern New Jersey. Immediately upon graduating from Law School, Matthew began representing residential developers for the firm of Bennie & Bennie, P.C. in Cherry Hill. He continued representing a wide range of residential and commercial developers in Southern New Jersey when he moved his practice to the Cherry Hill office of Dilworth Paxson, LLP. Concurrently, he expanded his practice by representing a number of municipal Planning and Joint Land Use Boards, including those in Moorestown, Hainesport, Delanco, Mansfield, North Hanover, Cinnaminson and Bordentown Townships.
Matthew earned a Bachelor of Science from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia and a Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware. Matthew is a member of both the New Jersey and Pennsylvania bars.
